st. augustine

What a privilege.

Really, what a privilege.  Today, for class I read a devotional from St. Augustine for class tomorrow.  In his devotional St. Augustine expands on the eternal struggle between will and its surrender to Christ, by retelling his own conversion to the life of faith.

I feel utterly privilege to have read his thoughts.  To be allowed to know what he thought as he struggled to let go of what the will says and its overwhelming power.

I cannot even formulate my thoughts.
